rubber stamp

Within this activity we need to care variety of items to use as stamps such as rubber, lino and foam

This was with a regular eraser I just dod a simple design of grass as thsi was such a small scale, this is how it came out when stamping.

I was just experimenting using gradient with the last one which i will explore later on but i do like how this came out i did realised when carving it that i wanted the grass to be coloured but with how small the eraser was i had to just crave out the grass bit to get this look instead which over all i di like how it came out.

These two stamps was made from foam i wanted to try a relief type of print with these such as when they are cutr out the shape you want u can make indentation in them to make them have a pattern of sorts so I made a flower he'd and a leaf, this is how they turned out.

I really like how the texture came out with these how easy it was to make but i did have problems wor the indentation disappearing afther a while you have to make sure to put alot of pressure down so they stay for a while but over all this process is my favorite one so far with it soft and texture look that I do like in illustrations.

I decided to try the eraser again but with a bigger one that I can do more detail to I went with a flower agent simpler to the one I did before to compare how these would look like.

This is how it came out I did a regular inking at the bottom with two colours then try do a gradient with ink at the top I really like how they came out and love the experiment with having more colours I didn't not haven any trouble doing this one compared to the other ones I have done.

This is the last one i did it I decided to do the theme that we can use for this project and it was Halloween I decided to make a sad ghost with funky shapes around it it was all going to be one piece but I decided to cut it in to pieces so so it would be easier to stamps more of thos odd shape around the ghost.

Here is the final piece this took a while to carve out as I was using lino to make this stamps and if was difficult as I keep cutting the wrong parts out and cutting too deep as well so this was my lest favourite out of all the one i did so far i did try and use the gradient here on the shape but you can see mistakes as some parts did not cut out making them have a print on the paper,  but over this was a fun experiment trying and see what effect I could have and to see if I want to use this in any of my projects, I might still keep experiment more in the future and see what fits.
