Tara Anand is an illustrator from Bombay, she studying the school of visual arts in New York, her work mainly about books, history and her surrounding and mainly like doing artworks with female narratives, she mainly do editorial and children books. why I chose this artist is because I really love their expressiveness in their work, how detailed their brush strokes can be and over all love how visual you can understand the emotion in this piece by the vivid colours and  perspectives.                               Chen Ruxue is an Chinese illustrator based in London, studying at the university of the arts in London doing illustration. she mainly use mix media but have started to use digital programs to creates her works and trying to explore more ways to to expresser her illustrated work. We task to do a poster design on a topic we are passionate about, the topic I chose is women's health there were many other topic within women's health when I was doing research so I took some information that I thought would be a good poster to show problems in women's health. I did some research and got some images to help with the ideas of what I can do for this poster  After that I stated to draw some thumbnail sketches to help get ideas down on what the poster will look like and what main topic I can do in women health. I chose to go with the topic of how many women aren't being listened to by their doctor I thought this should be a poster to bring awareness how serious this is to women's health. I then chose the one that looked the strongest and did some more bigger sketchs for the idea. Within this project we had to choose a poems from national poetry day. The poem I chose is the red kite I thought about for a bit then decided to help with the illustration is to have some references of the red kite. After I have some references I started to sketch out ideas of what the illustration could be for this poem. The sketch I liked the most is the one on the top left I thought that would be a strong visual to represent the red kite. I started to refine the drawing more and adding in the small animal running away from the red kite showing the fear and power of the red kite. This was the final out come but there was many mistakes I have made within this illustration such as the drawing need to be separated from the text so it need to be a two spread illustration and with the advice on how to improve it I went back to fix it.
