Chris Riddell

His depiction of Alice in wonderland is more inspired by Alice Liddell he wanted to bring a more accrete take on what Alice should look like with short dark hair bob.

I liked this version of Alice as this is kinda close to my take on Alice as I gave Alice a short unruly hair design but I keep my blond to the other depiction of Alice as it makes her more recognisable and I do like the style this artist have use very much suits their telling of Alice and might consider doing tradition works for my pieces.

                                                    

Willy Pogany

In his work he made this Alice a flapper meaning she a young western women from the 1920s who wore a short bob and skirts and listen to jazz.

This version is more fitted at the time this was released but I do enjoy the look of his work and is an nice depiction of Alice more unique designs I have seen so far and I did enjoy looking at his inked work and how it was drawing and maybe I should tire and do something like this like I could test it out to see this would fit what I'm going for.

In this version of Alice in wonderland it is viewed in Alice point of view showing the world of wonderland through her eyes, this make the reader that they are Alice and are experiencing what Alice is going through.

This is such and interesting take on Alice instead of showing Alice we get to look what she see of wonderland, I won't be doing anything like this as I want to show off Alice more and her expression through out her time in wonderland but it was a good look at what this artist done and take inspiration from them.

His take on Alice in wonderland is more accurate to the book as the author of the book was really demanding to make it in his vision to his book.

I do enjoyed the original take of Alice are it interesting to see how it all started and what it has become over the years I do like the black and white look to giving the reader to image what the world and everything in will look like in colour, I am most inspired by the original but I do want it to be completely  different like the other artist I have shown in my research.

                                             

Alice series game 

These game was creative by American McGee, this adaption of Alice in wonderland is more dark and twisted telling then the one we know of as this take on more adult topics such as it a psychological horror. the story is about Alice coping with the fact she saw he family die in a tragic house fire and  was sent of to insane asylum where he mental health was deteriorating and she had to try and recover her insanity and trying to deal with the reality and the the madness of wonderland.

This is an interesting take on Alice in wonderland and I do liked the ideas but this isn't really what my version is going to be as my isn't so dark and twisted but having to grow up fast will be depictives as that how the them of the story is in the book but it nowhere near how dark an twisted  then the Alice series but needless to say its still a good take on Alice and still help me what I could do in my version.
