poster project

We task to do a poster design on a topic we are passionate about, the topic I chose is women's health there were many other topic within women's health when I was doing research so I took some information that I thought would be a good poster to show problems in women's health.

I did some research and got some images to help with the ideas of what I can do for this poster 

After that I stated to draw some thumbnail sketches to help get ideas down on what the poster will look like and what main topic I can do in women health.

I chose to go with the topic of how many women aren't being listened to by their doctor I thought this should be a poster to bring awareness how serious this is to women's health.

I then chose the one that looked the strongest and did some more bigger sketchs for the idea.

After I got some feed back on what I can do to improve it, I started to sketch more from what they said such as I could use the words "you're overreacting" as it strangling her or use a medical equipment.

This is the almost final mockup of the poster design I decided I wanted the women to be very expressive showing her struggle so I change her posing to match her emotions.

When I show this mock up I got more feedback on what I can improve such as bring down the women to I have more space for the upper text to be bigger.

I wanted the whole pice done in blue to show her emotions of sadness as well as the text "you're overreacting" to be bright and bold.

 This is the final out come of this poster design. I had a lot of struggle with the colour pallet as I don't want it not being odd looking and tried making it put together.

I enjoy trying things with the text what I could have done to improve it more is to experiment more with the text exploring more emotions with in the text.

But over all i really liked how this poster turned out.
